By the time you’re reading this I should have touched down in the south of France for a nice little mini break, wuhoo! It’s been four years since I last went abroad so it’s about time I got away, and I really looking forward to it.
We’re flying super early so I thought it was apt to show you what to wear to the airport and why I’ve chosen what I have. When you have to be up at 4am to fly, the last thing you’ll want to do is spend lots of time getting ready and even getting out of your PJs or care what you look like, but you will care by the time you’ve woken up and got to the other side. I mean, you could just sleep in your clothes to save time on getting ready but you’ll probably be spending all day in them too so it’s not advised, unless you have really good deodorant and a steamer to hand!!?
⚓️ I’ve chosen my loosest, baggiest and most comfortable (yet stylish) trousers that are light weight and won’t be constrictive to sit in for hours on end. They also won’t be too hot when we reach France if the weathers nice mid morning by the time we step off the plane.
⚓️ You’ll want layers since it’ll probably be cold (especially this time of year if your flying out the door at 5am in the UK!) so a comfortable top and a cardigan will do the trick. I went for a long cargidan, which will also double up as a blanket on the plane if I want to have a snooze.
⚓️ Although I will take my flip flops with me (possibly in my hand luggage if I have room) I hate having cold feet on flights (or anywhere for that matter) and we will probably be doing a lot of walking through airports etc so I opted my my comfy boots.
⚓️ I’ll be taking all my laptop and camera stuff so I’ll want to keep that close with me so I’ve chosen a bag that will fit it all in, and it also speaks french so they’ll know instantly when I arrive that I am one cool girl!
⚓️ And, the hat? Well it looks good! And I guess it will be good to stick over my face on the plane to have a sleepies and a floppy hat makes any face look more glamorous when you’ve been travelling for hours.
⚓️ Oh and don’t forget new nails, make sure you sort those out before you go off on your hols!
