Good morning lover! How you doing this sunny Monday morning? Did you have a good weekend? I have had a lovely weekend in the sun down in Bournemouth with my Grandma. First off though, I went down to see Lucy at Voodoolou Tattoo to get some more work done on my sleeve tattoo. I wanted to tie in some more shading from my mermaid down and round my arm a bit more. I came up with a sea horse and clam shell design in vibrant blues and greens which Lucy drew up in her cute style to match my mermaid.
O. M F. G….. Most painful tattoo I’ve had so far, and I’ve got a few and been tattooed for longer previously. I’m usually really resilient to tattoo pain, but cor blimes, if I’d have known how painful under the arm was going to be, I’m not sure I’d have got it done!! It’s also the most swollen and bruised and after pain, of any of my tattoos, but Lucy assures me this is completely normal as it’s such a sensitive area! I love it though and it’s totally worth it, I just can’t wait for it to heal now.
After seeing Lucy in Parkstone, I headed to Boscombe for a walk along the beach in my old stopping ground. The weather was beautiful blue skies and even at 5pm was so warm, boy do I love Boscombe in the sun. It did make me wonder why on earth I left that behind (sorry Bristol!) I used to live just up the road from Boscombe pier and I do miss just being able to take some time out and enjoy a walk along the promenade, and it’s even better now, with puggy!
I went out for a meal with the fam that eve, spent the following day with Grandma seeing some of her oldest friends, ate burger and chips on the seafront and went to a few carboots, I put the weekend in to an episode of Vlogossip, so if you want to see more, check it out below!
