As you know, I’ve been pottering in the garden recently, Did you see my outdoor sofa last week? And my #shedspiration? Well, this one I’ve been wanting to do for ages. I love a good pinterested pallet (as you can probably tell) and I’m getting really into my tools and I love using my drill that brad gave to do my own DIY. Brad does it all day so it’s always difficult to try and get him to do DIY around the house when he gets home from work as well.
So I have to take matters in to my own hands, my standards are most certainly not up to Brads, but I do/bodge what I can. I already had one of these pallets at the end of my garden and I manage to pinch an extra one off my very resourceful neighbour, which just so happen to match perfectly. I cut and fixed bits of timber to the bottom of each of the horizontal strips of wood to create an open box. I use some left over Cuprinol to paint it to match the rest of the garden and the fix it alongside the edge of the decking. I lined each of the planter sections before planting up some succulents.
I need to buy some more to do the bottom row still but I’m so pleased with the outcome.
