If you saw yesterday’s post, you will have seen we took a ride along the cycle path over the weekend. I thought it was great opportunity to share some outfit post photos in more of a casual light. I do usually like to make my OOTD more of a dressy affair, because that’s usually how I roll when I am not in my PJs! But on a Sunday Funday, it’s my day to be casual. Of course for me, that still includes some oddities.
Cycling doesn’t really go hand in hand with a skirt so I chose to stick on my Primark jeans, which are still super comfortable and haven’t lost their shape or got baggy knees yet. However, I did have a white leather seat on my bike, it is now tinged with blue. Caution, wash with care (and probably alone!) to avoid ruining other clothes.
The weather was a little in decisive, it was glorious sunshine when we left. I am a sucker for seeing the sun and thinking its going to be super hot outside. Every spring I make the same mistake of wearing too little too soon. I didn’t take a jumper as I thought we would be cycling up a sweat. It was still a little chilly but I had my trusty vintage demin shirt to chuck on, I am living in this atm. I think I need some more shirts to throw on for some extra warmth when a jumper is too much.
We stopped next to this lovely narrow boat on the river to imagine what it would be like to be able to enjoy the river lifestyle daily. Brad and I have a pipe dream to live on a wide beam boat on the river, for a year or so but who knows if it will ever happen. For now we can dream though.
