I had such a fab and relaxing evening on Monday night at The Celtic Manor Forum Spa with Elemis. Lily and I headed over for an evening of pampering. I was so excited, having seen photos of the Forum Spa after attending The Celtic Manor for the first time back at Christmas time, it looked so luxurious, I was so pleased to have been invited back.
We were greeted with a glass of bubbly and the most delicious chocolate covered strawberries. We were shown to our lockers, which were personalised and filled with goodies, and given a brief tour of the facilities. We changed in to our costumes and the very snuggly robes that were provided and then headed back out to treatment area where we were offered massages, facials and manicures throughout the evening.
I suffer from a redness to my skin, particularly when I am warm (…embarrassed, nervous, cold…!) my skin flushes. So I went for the O2 Soothing Facial which cools the skin and targets the red areas. Everyone said how glowing my skin looked after.
We had full access to the spa facilities, the GORGEOUS pool (which I was genuinely blown away by) the sauna, jacuzzi and lounge area. The whole area is decorated beautifully and gives such a relaxing vibe throughout, I felt like I stepped in to a Mediterranean temple.
Having seen the spa, it is definitely somewhere on my list to visit again, there’s something magical about The Celtic Manor, it’s a fantastic resort with so much to offer. The mini bus service to and from the car park is the cherry on the top, I can’t wait to go back.
