Last week, Brad and I decided to check out a new, and well reviewed restaurant in the neighbourhood, and this is what I wore. It was mid week and not a particularly posh restaurant and I like the smart yet cas nature of this outfit. Denim teamed with pleather is a great corner and with that shirt tied in the middle around my waist gives it a bit of a Dirty Dancing vibe I thought!
You may have seen in my vlog the other week, I ventured to Loot vintage for the first time and picked up a few bits. Although I have driven past a few times, it’s been on my list of places to get to since I moved to Bristol. Situated just above the bear pit with it’s large window out over the graffitied eateries below, it’s a lot bigger inside than I imagined and really well laid out. I love their use of plywood and scaffold poles, it really fits with their branding. They have a fab selection of vintage shirts, all of which have been tailored by their own in house seamstress who you can watch at work. I picked up this demin shirt which I love. It’s just the right length, not too shirt and big enough to wear with jeggings.
I love the fact you can wear it tied up or let it hang lose, which is exactly what I did after I’d eaten a huge bowl of pasta from Florence in Totterdown. It’s a new italian restaurant which has had some really good reviews on our local facebook group. The food was a really good standard and really competitively priced, the price doesn’t do the food justice.
