This week I have had my legs out quite a few times and I decided I needed to get my body summer ready. I don’t have any products about the house, so I decided to try a few all natural DIY skincare hacks, instead of spending a fortune on skincare products. Go and grab yourself a green juice (or a cheeky cider) and come and join me in my garden for some pampering. I am using epsom salt which Kaycie gave me to try and followed a few recipes to make my own facial, body scrub and foot soak.
You will need
A flip top jar
Mix 2 parts Epsom Salt to one part olive oil. Stir
DIY Body Scrub
You will Need
Rosemary (or you choice of herb, peppermint is refreshing, lavender calming and rosemary invigorating… Depending on your mood.)
A Flip Top Jar
As before, mix 2 parts epsom salt to one part olive oil then add the juice of one lemon and a handful of your chosen herbs. Stir.
DIY Foot Scrub
What You Will Need
Warm Soapy Water
Two cupfuls of Epsom Salt
Get a bowl of warm soapy water and chuck in two cupfuls of epsom salt and mix.
Next, grab your drink, pop your feet in to soak.
Pop on your scrub gloves and use the DIY body scrub to rub all over your body or the areas that you think need some work.
Rub your DIY facial mix in to your face in upwards circular motions.
Six back and relax.
After soaking, use your pedi kit to scrub and buff your feet.
Jump in the shower (or better still, soak in the bath) to wash it all off.
Remove your nail varnish and push your cuticles back.
Chose a colourful summer nail varnish and paint your toes pretty.
You are now ready for that pool party and BBQ!
ENJOY THE SUNSHINE.
Don’t forget sunscreen!
