I had a lovely day yesterday, I met up with Lucy for a bit of holiday shopping during the afternoon. at Cabot Circus, in an attempt to avoid the rain. Neither of us were really in the mood for shopping though, with too much to catch up on. I picked up a few things, but then we decided to grab dinner at Wagamamas, before we had to leave to head over to bath for a blogger event to learn how to flower arrange.
We were both excited to go and play with flowers and learn properly how to arrange them. I’m notoriously bad with keeping flowers and plants alive, I’ve even previously drowned a hydrangea which I’m told is practically impossible!
We drove through some beautifully quaint villages before arriving in Upper Swainswick to a typically english barn in which Flowers by Passion is based. It was just so beautiful, a little shame that it was raining but still so pretty none the less. I’d love a gorgeous barn in the future to use as office studio space so it was so inspiring to visit.
A handful of bloggers listened intently to Jo’s instruction (explained in the video below) as to how to flower arrange to get the best effect using beautiful Dartington Crystal vases, before we all had a go on our own. I chose for the most candy coloured flowers I could to create (predictably) a blue and pink candy bouquet.
