As you can see, today I am trying jeans for the first time in quite a while! My body shape is naturally curvy and my large thighs are a family trait all the women in my family have been “blessed” with. Whilst Kim Kardashian may be rocking that booty, I am still finding the confidence to promote mine. Skirts have always been my thing, they show off my small waist and hide everything from there, down! Whilst I was in Primark t’other day, I picked up three pairs of the high waisted skinny jeggings in an attempt to get my legs on show. I am still not 100% but I am please with how slim my waist looks!
I don’t think it is any surprise that I am a bit of a ring obsessive, especially the silver kind. I love independent boutique designers of jewellery as I think you can get something a bit more quirky and unique. So when Jewel Street got in touch and asked if I would like to chose one from their website to support their boutique designers, I was so excited. They have some gorgeous designs throughout the website, it was really hard to chose but I have wanted a stack ’em ring for ages and this Frozen one by Alison Moore was just beautiful.
In other news, how amazing is this wall! Not only did I expose my thighs in the skinniest of jeans, I actually braved the public and headed down to my fav colourful streets of Totterdown to shoot these photos. In truth, I hid behind a rather large van so I was semi shielded, but I need to build my confidence some how. It wasn’t that bad really, I got a few strange looks from a couple of men that drove past, but I just strange looked them right back.
I had to stick a hat on today because my hair is a MESS!!! I a so excited, my friend Jack (the pro hairdresser) is coming over tonight for a home visit to sort the barnet out. I have been in hair crisis for some weeks now and I am looking forward to a bit of a change, and a trim! I won’t ruin the surprise but watch this space!
