On Thursday night, myself and fellow Bristol blogger, Lily Doughball, headed to Bath to meet up with Megan and Steph to attend the launch of Lush’s new range of products and a general activity night in Bath Lush. I love Bath so much, but I stick out like a sore thumb when I am there. I wanted to add a little “class” to my outfit, which isn’t a look I usually go for!
As soon as I saw this new Crown and Glory headband in my Glitterati box, I knew just the skirt I had that it would go perfectly with. I have had this skirt in my wardrobe for years, it’s a vintage one I picked up from a charity shop and have only worn it a handful of times, so I knew I just had to team them together for the blogger event.
I also wore a lace top, originally from H&M, but I nabbed mine at the frock swap before christmas. Whilst I was chasing tops for this outfit, it dawned on me, I have a distinct lack of white/cream tops. Something I want to work on for this year. In an ideal world, I would have loved to have teamed the skirt with a stripe top (I head spots and stripes are all the rage this season!) but alas, I don’t own one!
I also wore my Gauge Queen earrings, I want to get some more of these as they are made to look like plugs, except they’re just earrings and there’s no need to go full stretch! I couldn’t be totally classy, of course that’s just not me, so I threw a few splashes of colour at the outfit (naturally that was Pink!) and wore a thin pink belt I picked up from a carrot, and my high top trainers (which is now my second pair of these and these are dying now too, boo!).
